Dr. Mohammad “Fouad” Azim earned his medical degree from De Salle University, Philippines where he graduated with honors. During his senior year in medical school, he served a clinical clerkship at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Galveston. He completed his internship and pediatric residency at UTMB. Dr. Azim is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Azim has hospital privileges at Christus St. John Hospital, Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, and Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Azim's philosophy of practice is to be attuned to parents' concerns about their children. He believes all concerns are important and is pleased to provide medical information to parents. He has a special rapport with his young patients. Dr. Azim's family includes 40 physicians! His wife, Dr. Raquel Mena, is also a pediatrician. Dr. Azim and Dr. Mena and their sons reside in the Clear Lake area. Dr. Azim's personal interests include reading and traveling.
