Dr. Evan Matwijiw is a specialty physician in endocrinology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto School of Medicine, Ontario, Canada. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at The Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. Dr. Matwijiw completed a research fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada, where he was also on the medical staff for five years. He has practiced in the Clear Lake area since 1993. Dr. Matwijiw's philosophy of practice is to provide information that is easy to understand so his patients may fully participate in the control and management of their disease. He strives to form a partnership with his patients. Dr. Matwijiw resides in the Clear Lake area and is the parent of three daughters. His interests are numerous and include history, art, music and theater.
