Dr. Hema Salvady brings several years of Rheumatology experience to Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group. Diseases that she currently treats are Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scleroderma, Vasculitis, Sjogrens Syndrome, Gout, Mucsculoskeletal pain that is not trauma related, and last, but not least, Fibromyalgia.

Dr.Salvady feels that listening is one of the most important aspects of medicine, as well as, educating her patients about their disease process and actively involving patients in their treatment plans. She believes that a balanced diet and exercise is one of the keys to sound health and tries to incorporate that into her patient's treatment plans. This is a plan that has brought much success in treating her patients.

Dr. Salvady earned a degree in medicine at Gandhi Medical College , Bhopat , India and after practicing medicine in India , moved to Michigan . She received her training in Internal Medicine from Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center , affiliated with Temple University , in Philadelphia . Subsequently, she completed a Fellowship in Rheumatology at Wayne State University in Detroit , Michigan .

Her professional associations include the American College of Rheumatology and the American Medical Association. Prior to joining TGCMG, Dr. Salvady practice Rheumatology at Kelsey-Seybold in Houston .

Dr. Salvady, her husband, and her two sons reside in Pearland where they are active in various community activities. Her personal interests include art, music, and dance.
