Dr. Leila Sim earned her medical degree with honors from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, the Philippines. She completed her pediatric residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center's Temple University School of Medicine and the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Dr. Sim has practiced in Clear Lake area since 1989 and joined Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group in June 2002. Dr. Sim is board-qualified in pediatrics. Her professional associations include the Texas Pediatric Society, Bay Area Pediatric Society and the Harris County Medical Society. Dr. Sim is known for the rapport she develops with her patients and their parents. She loves children and they love “my doctor”. Her easy-going approach and insightful, practical explanations put parents at ease. She believes that good listening leads to good care and appreciates the opinions of parents. The Doctors Sim (her husband is an allergist in private practice) reside in the Clear Lake area with their three children. In her spare time she enjoys playing the piano, reading and traveling with her family. Dr Sim has privileges at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Texas Children's Hospital and the Christus St. John Hospital.
