Dr. Adelia Brannen earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her internship and residency training in Family Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and her professional associations include the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Harris County Medical Society.
Dr. Brannen has practiced in the Clear Lake area since 1990 and enjoys serving her patients and community. She enjoys treating entire families of patients including children and adults through geriatrics. Dr. Brannen is known by her patients as a problem solver. Her practice philosophy is to assure that she has an in-depth medical history in order to treat not only the presenting medical problem, but also to identify contributing factors. She believes in quality health care and treating the whole patient, and she enjoys her relationships with her patients.
Dr. Brannen and her husband reside in the Clear Lake Area and are the parents of three grown children. The family enjoys sports, music, the outdoors, and church activities.
