Dr. Adelia Brannen earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston and completed her internship and residency in Family Practice at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston). Dr. Brannen has practiced in the Clear Lake area since 1990 and enjoys serving her community.
She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Her professional associations include the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society. Dr. Brannen graduated from the University of Texas with her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
Dr. Brannen enjoys treating entire families of patients from newborns through geriatrics. Dr. Brannen is known as a problem solver. Her practice philosophy is to assure that she has an in-depth medical history, both immediate and past, in order to treat not only the presenting medical problem, but also to identify contributing factors.
She believes in treating the whole patient. Dr. Brannen and her husband reside in the Clear Lake area and are the parents of three children. The family enjoys soccer, music, the outdoors, skiing, church, and school activities.
