Steven Dennis, M.D., joined Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group on May 1st, 2016. His office is located at 2060 Space Park, Suite #102, in Clear Lake adjacent to St. John’s Hospital.
Dr. Dennis and his family reside in League City, Texas. He is a native Houstonian, who completed his undergraduate pre-med training at the University of Houston and subsequently earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
After completing his residency training in Family Medicine at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, Dr. Dennis went on to receive his sports medicine training at the Texas Center for Athletes. He became double boarded certified in Sports Medicine after he completed a sports medicine fellowship with Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio.
Dr. Dennis’s philosophy is that the best prescription for comprehensive health and wellness is the right “dosage” of exercise coupled with the appropriate dietary regimen. He focuses on the promotion of healthy lifestyles through regular physical activity and proper nutrition.
He is double boarded in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He practices the full spectrum of primary care as a Family Physician, but also specializes in the treatment of athletes and active people of all ages. In his free time, Dr. Dennis enjoys following the Houston Sports scene, especially the University of Houston Cougars. He is a Life Member of the Houston Alumni Association, as well as a donor and long-time season ticket holder to Cougar Athletics. He is a Parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in League City, Texas. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children, as well as exercise and strength training at his local fitness center.
